San Jose's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Oak Grove Eagles 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was San Jose who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 17-25, 27-25, 16-25, 15-12.

San Jose is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Oak Grove, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7.
