Mapleton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 64-36 victory over the South Central Trojans. The Mounties have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Mapleton's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for South Central, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Mapleton will head out to face off against Monroeville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mapleton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Monroeville likes a good challenge. As for South Central, they will welcome New London at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. South Central is facing New London at the right time seeing as New London is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
