Basketball Game Preview: Environmental Charter Hawks vs. Burgettstown Blue Devils

The Environmental Charter Hawks will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Burgettstown Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Environmental Charter will be strutting in after a win while Burgettstown will be coming in after a loss.

Environmental Charter is headed out to face Burgettstown after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Hawks snuck past Mt. Pleasant with a 57-51 victory on Thursday.

Environmental Charter's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah McBride, who posted 15 points. That's the most points McBride has posted since back in December of 2024. Tyler Hurst was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Burgettstown played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 92-57 loss at the hands of South Side. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
