Volleyball Game Preview: Jonesville Comets vs. Addison Panthers

After both having extra time off, the Jonesville Comets and the Addison Panthers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jonesville has three straight wins, Addison has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Jonesville got the win against Homer by a conclusive 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Comets have posted against the Trojans since November 3, 2021.

Jonesville didn't let Homer take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Addison faced off against Michigan Center on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Cardinals.

Addison's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Jonesville, the win got them back to even at 10-10-1.

Jonesville suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Addison in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Comets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
