Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Barack Obama School for Social Justice to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dontaye Dunkle Jr., who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Raheem Azeez, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Barack Obama School for Social Justice's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Irvington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Barack Obama School for Social Justice will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Dobbs Ferry at 4:30 p.m. Hopefully Barack Obama School for Social Justice focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Monday. As for Irvington, they will head out on the road to take on Yonkers Montessori Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Irvington and ten for Yonkers Montessori Academy.
