East Ridge has gone 8-2 against South Lake recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The East Ridge Knights will challenge the South Lake Eagles at 7:00 p.m. East Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

South Lake will be up against a hot East Ridge team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. East Ridge blew past Seminole 10-0 on Friday. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

East Ridge got a massive performance out of Veronica Peterson, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Peterson has posted since back in April of 2024. Lelia Bolden was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

East Ridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, South Lake was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 21-0 to Montverde Academy. The loss continues a trend for South Lake in their matchups with Montverde Academy: they've now lost three in a row.

East Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for South Lake, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

East Ridge took their win against South Lake when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 16-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Ridge since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
