Baseball Game Preview: Beaver Bobcats vs. Ambridge Bridgers

The Beaver Bobcats will venture away from home to square off against the Ambridge Bridgers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Beaver's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Ambridge's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

It was a proper cat-fight when Beaver took on New Brighton on Wednesday. The Bobcats fell 6-2 to the Lions. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Ambridge suffered their closest defeat since March 23rd on Friday. They fell just short of New Brighton by a score of 9-7.

Beaver's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Ambridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Beaver beat Ambridge 7-3 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
