Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Madill

Madill extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Elexis Holmes. The Madill Wildcats walked away with a 60-53 victory over the Kingston Redskins on Tuesday thanks in part to Holmes, who shot 4-for-7 from long range and almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Madill's points.

Another player making a difference was La'Miyah Brown, who posted ten points and six assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in December of 2023.

Madill's record now sits at 5-1. As for Kingston, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Madill will take on Weatherford in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kingston, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lone Grove at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
