For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Pasquotank County and Hertford County meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. Pasquotank County blew past Hertford County 17-4. The Panthers have beaten the Bears the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bears has come to flipping the script.

Tyler Bundy was excellent, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Tyshawn Spencer was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Pasquotank County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hertford County only posted an OBP of .346.

Pasquotank County's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Hertford County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
