Football Game Preview: Reeths-Puffer Rockets vs. Muskegon Big Reds + How To Watch

Reeths-Puffer hasn't had much luck against Muskegon recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rockets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Big Reds at 7:00 p.m. Reeths-Puffer has given up an average of 34 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Reeths-Puffer was beaten by Byron Center 42-7. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 35th).

Meanwhile, Muskegon had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 67-0 victory over the Red Hawks. The Big Reds' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Reeths-Puffer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Muskegon, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Reeths-Puffer took a serious blow against Muskegon when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 48-7. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rockets were down 27-0.
