Football Game Preview: Cascia Hall Commandos vs. Perkins-Tryon Demons + Official Tickets

The Cascia Hall Commandos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Perkins-Tryon Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cascia Hall is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Idabel 42-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Commandos' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Warriors are ranked 111th).

Meanwhile, Perkins-Tryon entered their tilt with Plainview on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed past the Indians to the tune of 48-14.

Cascia Hall better keep an eye on Wyatt Atkinson. He was instrumental in Perkins-Tryon's win, rushing for 238 yards and three scores. Atkinson is becoming a predictor of the Demons' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 7-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Gravitt, who rushed for 44 yards and one touchdown.

Perkins-Tryon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 308 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 179 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

One reason for the win was Perkins-Tryon's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Leading the way was Ethan Anderson with four.

Cascia Hall's record now sits at 9-2. As for Perkins-Tryon, their record is now 8-3.
