Banning is a perfect 10-0 against Gardena since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Pilots will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Banning will be strutting in after a win while Gardena will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Banning was able to grind out a solid victory over Narbonne, taking the game 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 12-25, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Gardena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to San Pedro.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-10, 25-17.

Gardena's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Banning, their win bumped their record up to 6-17.

Banning took their victory against Gardena in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pilots since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
