Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clarksville). They were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Scottsburg Warriors on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Aaliyah Watts was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Clarksville let Kylie Raggard and Tiarra Lewis run wild. Raggard went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Lewis went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
