Softball Recap: Jensen Beach Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Jensen Beach had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Satellite Scorpio by a score of 6-3.

Riley Boop spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Izzy Ouellette was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Moore, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Jensen Beach's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Satellite, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Jensen Beach will take on Dwyer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Satellite, they will square off against Titusville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
