Meanwhile, Elk Valley Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Lewisburg Baptist Academy by a score of 53-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Elk Valley Christian has suffered yet this season.
Ignite Athletics bumped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Elk Valley Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
