Soccer Game Preview: Pomperaug vs. Bethel + How To Watch

The Pomperaug Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Bethel Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pomperaug's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Pomperaug's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Newtown 1-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bethel took on Masuk on Monday. The Wildcats blew past the Panthers 4-0. Considering Bethel have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Bethel's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matchups. As for Pomperaug, their record is now 11-7-2.
