Basketball Recap: Social Circle Sets Scoring Season-High Against Towers

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Social Circle). They blew past the Towers Titans, posting a 65-30 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redskins.

Jada Hyman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 14 en route to 18 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. She has become a key player for Social Circle: the team is 4-2 when she posts at least three steals, but 8-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Brielle Price, who went 6 of 15 on her way to 15 points and three steals.

Social Circle now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Towers, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Social Circle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-38 defeat against Prince Avenue Christian on the 1st. As for Towers, they will challenge Southwest Atlanta Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Southwest Atlanta Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Towers surely won't give up without a fight.
