Basketball Recap: Rock Falls Takes a Loss

Rock Falls was the 71-53 winner over Erie-Prophetstown when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Monday. While the Rockets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 21-12 in the first quarter.

Rock Falls' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Rock Falls won't have much time to rest: their next game is against DeKalb at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Erie-Prophetstown, they will challenge Kewanee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
