Clinton dropped down to 5-2 on Friday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. The contest between the Redwolves and the Hudson Tigers didn't end well, with the Redwolves falling 32-16. While losing is never fun, the Redwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Tigers are ranked 44th).

When it comes to explaining why Clinton lost, don't look at Clifford Jones. Despite the final result, he rushed for 95 yards and one score.

As for Hudson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.9 points on average this season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Grayson Bills and Beckett Campbell. Bills gained 105 total yards while Campbell rushed for 94 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 94 rushing yards gave Campbell a new career-high.
