Football Game Preview: Liberty Center Tigers vs. Liberty-Benton Eagles

Liberty Center has won seven straight games at home, while Liberty-Benton has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Tigers will face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Liberty Center is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Oak Harbor to the tune of 56-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Rockets are ranked 182nd).

Meanwhile, while Liberty-Benton put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Norwayne. The Eagles claimed a resounding 38-0 win over the Bobcats. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Eagles just coasted through the last quarter.

Liberty Center's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Liberty-Benton, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.

Everything came up roses for Liberty Center against Liberty-Benton in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 35-0 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
