Ashley Hall's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the First Baptist School Hurricanes by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now won eight in a row.

Ashley Hall had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ashley Hall to victory, but perhaps none more so than Minka Tang, who had nine digs and two aces. Amelia Finnegan was another key player, getting seven digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Ashley Hall was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matches.

Ashley Hall's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for First Baptist School, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12.
