Basketball Game Preview: Orthopaedic Vipers vs. Santee Falcons

Having just played yesterday, the Orthopaedic Vipers will head out on the road to face off against the Santee Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Orthopaedic has six straight wins, Santee has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Orthopaedic is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 64-48 victory over Jefferson on Monday.

Meanwhile, Santee took a blow against Hamilton last Friday, falling 96-22.

Andrew Serano was the Falcons' leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Ali Huhammad held things down on the boards with five rebounds. Miguel Vera took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Orthopaedic's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Santee, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Orthopaedic strolled past Santee when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 63-44. Will the Vipers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
