Football Game Recap: St. Peter-Marian vs. Burncoat

Their game last Saturday wasn't at all kind to St. Peter-Marian, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They took their matchup against Burncoat on Saturday 32-22. The victory was a breath of fresh air for St. Peter-Marian as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Finally capturing their first win of the season, St. Peter-Marian advanced to 1-5. The loss dropped Burncoat back to even at 3-3.

Next week St. Peter-Marian take on Clinton at 7:00 PM. Clinton are limping into the match on a three-game losing streak. Burncoat will be defending their home turf for the first time when they go up against Hamden Hall Country Day at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
