Softball Recap: Windsor Academy Comes Up Short

Windsor Academy couldn't beat Gatewood on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Knights came up short against the Gators, falling 13-4. The Knights have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Kyndall Bowen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Perry, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Windsor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Gatewood, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Windsor Academy has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 victory against Howard on the 2nd. As for Gatewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 win against Central Fellowship Christian Academy on the 2nd.
