Volleyball Game Preview: Saint Jo Panthers vs. Midway Falcons

The Saint Jo Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Midway Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Saint Jo will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

On Monday, Saint Jo made easy work of Forestburg and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Saint Jo never let Forestburg on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 27-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Midway challenged Bellevue on Friday. The Falcons came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

While Midway was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-16.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Saint Jo, their win bumped their record up to 27-13.

Saint Jo took their victory against Midway in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
