Volleyball Game Preview: Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings vs. Thornton Fractional North Meteors

The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Thornton Fractional North Meteors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Homewood-Flossmoor will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Monday, Homewood-Flossmoor sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Joliet Central.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Homewood-Flossmoor got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Thornton Fractional North came up short against Lincoln-Way Central on April 7th and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13.

Homewood-Flossmoor pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Thornton Fractional North, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
