Volleyball Recap: Triton Regional Comes Up Short

If Triton Regional was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Georgetown on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the North Reading Hornets on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 25-13.

North Reading can attribute much of their success to Emery Cordero, who had 11 digs and three aces.

Triton Regional's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for North Reading, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.

Triton Regional has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Lynnfield on the 24th. As for North Reading, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Masconomet Regional on the 24th.
