Basketball Recap: Talike Wallace's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Harrison Central over Hancock + How To Watch

Harrison Central was the 51-31 winner over Hancock when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Rebels took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Red Rebels have lost by exactly nine points.

Harrison Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Talike Wallace, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 13 points. Deion Keyes was another key player, putting up seven points.

Harrison Central's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. Those road defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points over those games. As for Hancock, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Harrison Central will be playing at home against Moss Point at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hancock, they will venture away from home to challenge Presbyterian Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
