Volleyball Recap: Guilford Park Extends Winning Streak to Three

Guilford Park had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Old Mill Patriots with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Guilford Park took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-14.

Chikanele Onukwugha paced Guilford Park's offense, picking up 14 kills. Onukwugha got some help from Sofia Servedio and her 24 assists. Enkhbulgan Batzorig controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Guilford Park's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Old Mill, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

As of now, neither Guilford Park nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
