Basketball Recap: Woodside Comes Up Short

Woodside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 48-31 bruising from the Burlingame Panthers. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pilot Eis was the offensive standout of the match as he went 6 of 8 on his way to 15 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. David Parrot was another key player, putting up ten points.

Woodside's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Burlingame, their record now sits at 9-12.

Woodside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-47 loss against Sequoia on the 1st. As for Burlingame, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Burlingame Panthers duke it out with the Half Moon Bay Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
