Soccer Recap: Piketon Takes a Loss

Piketon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the West Union Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Union this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in August.

Piketon's loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for West Union, they now have a winning record of 7-6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Piketon will face off against South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Union, they will challenge Wellston at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. West Union will be up against Wellston's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.63 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
