Softball Recap: Flagler Palm Coast Comes Up Short

Flagler Palm Coast lost against Spruce Creek back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs lost 11-4 to the Spruce Creek Hawks. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mackenzie West made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Flagler Palm Coast's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Spruce Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Coming up, Flagler Palm Coast and Deltona will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Flagler Palm Coast has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Spruce Creek, they will take on Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Spruce Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
