Salina Central entered their tilt with Augusta on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Orioles by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Salina Central easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-18.

Salina Central found their leader in sophomore Elizabeth Howard, who had three digs and three aces. Kaylie Hickman also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Salina Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Salina Central's win bumped their record up to 23-11. As for Augusta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-28-2.

Salina Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Buhler on the 18th. Augusta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
