Surry HomeSchool and Community Baptist are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Runnin' Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Conquerors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Surry HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season.

On Tuesday, Surry HomeSchool made easy work of NC H and carried off a 77-51 win. The Runnin' Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 25 points or more this season.

Surry HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Heath Clark led the charge by putting up 27 points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Butcher, who posted 20 points.

Meanwhile, Community Baptist played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Millers Creek Christian and fell 53-18. The Conquerors haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Surry HomeSchool will have to contain Luke Preston as he made an impact in Community Baptist's last game. He put up nine points.

Surry HomeSchool now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Community Baptist, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Surry HomeSchool hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 58.6 points per game. It's a different story for Community Baptist, though, as they've been averaging only 38.3 points. The only thing between Surry HomeSchool and another offensive beatdown is the Conquerors. Will they be able to keep them contained?

Surry HomeSchool was able to grind out a solid victory over Community Baptist in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 68-55. Will the Runnin' Patriots repeat their success, or do the Conquerors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
