Basketball Recap: Catholic Memorial Comes Up Short

Catholic Memorial lost against Kettle Moraine back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Catholic Memorial Crusaders lost 74-54 to the Kettle Moraine Lasers. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Lasers are ranked fourth).

This is the second loss in a row for Catholic Memorial and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Kettle Moraine, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Looking ahead, Catholic Memorial is taking a road trip to challenge Oconomowoc at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for Kettle Moraine, they will take on Nicolet at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
