Soccer Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Zachary Broncos. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Baton Rouge pushed their record up to 10-2-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four contests. As for Zachary, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8-1.

Coincidentally, Baton Rouge and Zachary will both be playing East Ascension the next time they take the pitch. Zachary will host East Ascension at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Baton Rouge will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
