Volleyball Recap: Big Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Big Valley took on Dunsmuir on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Big Valley actually scored more points across those five sets (101-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 15-25, 18-25, 25-20, 15-9.

Big Valley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Dunsmuir, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Big Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Tulelake at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dunsmuir will challenge rival Surprise Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
