Basketball Game Preview: University Red Devils vs. Archbishop Riordan Crusaders

The University Red Devils just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, University put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They blew past Acalanes 88-66. The Red Devils' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Riordan was able to grind out a solid win over Amador Valley on Friday, taking the game 59-48.

University's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Archbishop Riordan, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

University beat Archbishop Riordan 73-63 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
