Aaron Ferguson and Irving Singletary secure win for Burlington Township

Recap: Burlington Township Falcons vs. Moorestown Quakers

The Burlington Township Falcons came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged Moorestown out 57-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Burlington Township also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

Leading Burlington Township to victory were Aaron Ferguson and Irving Singletary. Ferguson scored 13 points along with five assists and three steals, while Singletary scored 17 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Singletary has scored all season. Ian Walker was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Burlington Township has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Moorestown, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7.

Burlington Township will head out on the road to take on Medford Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Medford Tech's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matchups. As for Moorestown, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Holy Cross on February 12th.
