Softball Recap: Blacksburg Bruins vs. Lord Botetourt Cavaliers

Blacksburg scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers with a sharp 16-2 victory. The win was familiar territory for Blacksburg who now have four in a row.

Evelyn Rhoads made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk). Rhoads was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.
