Vaughn fell to Hondo 65-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Eagles led 6-Man District 2 (6 Man) in scoring this week by notching 65 points on the Eagles. Billy Candelaria threw for 76 yards and ran for 66 yards during the win.
Hondo's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Candelaria has thrown for 323 yards this season, while Candelaria has 12 catches for 139 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Animas and Vaughn. The Panthers comes into the matchup ranked 13th in the state, while Trent Spencer's team ranks 11th.
Animas made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 843 from 962. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 64-26 victory over Reserve last week.
