Basketball Recap: Boone Victorious + How To Watch

After losing to West Orange the last time they met, Boone decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Braves walked away with a 75-66 win over the Warriors on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Boone had a senior duo take command as Connor Summer went 8-for-10 on his way to 28 points and five rebounds and Makauri Massey shot 70% from the field en route to 21 points and six boards. Summer's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Deas, who posted eight points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Boone has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for West Orange, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Boone will take on Mount Dora in a tournament on Tuesday. As for West Orange, they will challenge Foundation Academy at 8:15 p.m. on the 28th.
