Football Recap: Lewiston-Altura Comes Up Short

Lewiston-Altura was the 27-20 winner over Waterville-Elysian-Morristown when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals took a blow against the Buccaneers on Friday, falling 42-14.

Lewiston-Altura's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Lewiston-Altura will take on Cleveland/Immanuel Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, they will be playing at home against Medford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Buccaneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
