Basketball Recap: Canyon View Comes Up Short

Canyon View was the 71-49 winner over Pinnacle when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars fell 66-57 to the Pioneers on Wednesday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cam Hurt continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pinnacle, shooting 60% from the field to rack up 25 points along with six assists and three steals. That's the most points Hurt has posted since back in December of 2024. Rhys Robinson was another key player, going 5-for-10 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

Canyon View now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pinnacle, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Canyon View has already played their next matchup, an 88-42 win against North Canyon on the 4th. As for Pinnacle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-50 victory against Valley Vista on the 4th.
