Hilton Head Island has gone 9-1 against Colleton County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Seahawks will take on the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hilton Head Island has three straight victories, Colleton County has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

On Friday, Hilton Head Island earned a 3-1 win over Bluffton. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Hilton Head Island's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Bluffton are ranked 116th).

Piper Baxter and Samanta Garcia scored all three of Hilton Head Island's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Colleton County and Berkeley have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Stags.

Hilton Head Island's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three contests. As for Colleton County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Everything went Hilton Head Island's way against Colleton County in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as Hilton Head Island made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seahawks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
