Basketball Game Preview: LEE Volunteers vs. Johnson Jaguars

LEE hasn't had much luck against Johnson recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The LEE Volunteers will look to defend their home court against the Johnson Jaguars at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, LEE lost to Reagan on the road by a 61-42 margin. While losing is never fun, the Volunteers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 724th, while the Rattlers are ranked 90th).

Meanwhile, Johnson entered their tilt with Madison on Saturday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They managed a 72-66 win over the Mavericks.

Johnson is also on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for LEE, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-22.

Things could have been worse for LEE, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-31 loss to Johnson in their previous matchup back in January.
