Basketball Recap: Faribault Takes a Loss

After flying high against Owatonna on Thursday, Faribault came back down to earth. The Faribault Falcons took a 64-45 bruising from the Maple Grove Crimson on Friday.

Faribault's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Maple Grove, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Faribault has already played their next match, a 77-50 victory against Owatonna on the 17th. As for Maple Grove, they are taking a road trip to challenge Totino-Grace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Totino-Grace knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Maple Grove likes a good challenge.
