After losing to Manassas the last time they met, Sheffield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sheffield Knights enjoyed a cozy 38-22 win over the Manassas Tigers on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Sheffield's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-5. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Manassas, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Sheffield won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Power Center Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sheffield is facing Power Center Academy at the right time seeing as Power Center Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Manassas, they are taking a road trip to take on University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. University's defense has only allowed 15.2 points per game this season, so Manassas' offense will have their work cut out for them.
