Game recap: Sacred Heart Prep High School Football Team beats Half Moon Bay

HALF MOON BAY, Calif. - the Gators scored 21 points in the first quarter to secure a big 40-8 victory over Half Moon Bay (Calif.) on Saturday.

Sacred Heart Prep scored on a touchdown run by Chris Lee, a touchdown pass by Kevin Donahoe to Lee and a defensive touchdown in the quarter.

SHP was up 27-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by Lee in the first quarter.

The Atherton school expanded its lead to 33 points entering the fourth quarter. The Gators scored once in the quarter on a Donahoe touchdown pass to Ryan Gaertner.

Lee played well for Sacred Heart Prep in the victory. The junior running back ran for two touchdowns and caught one touchdown. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.



The Cougars' lone touchdown came on a run in the fourth quarter.

SHP had given up an average of 4.5 points prior to the contest.

Half Moon Bay (1-8) goes up against Terra Nova in a Peninsula - Bay game matchup next week, while Sacred Heart Prep (8-1) locks horns with Menlo in a non-conference game.
