Chadron and Alliance are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2022, but not for long. The Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Chadron earned a 2-0 win over Crawford.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Alliance, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Mitchell with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have beaten the Tigers the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Alliance not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mitchell between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-17.

Chadron better keep an eye on Kenley Jelinek. She was instrumental in Alliance's win, getting nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Jelinek has posted since back in September. Ahri Galvan also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Alliance's win bumped their record up to 8-22. As for Chadron, their victory bumped their record up to 18-13.

Chadron beat Alliance 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Do the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
